Bob Marston

Bob Marston’s musical journey began when as a child, he would sing songs written by his mother for his brother, sister, and himself, local sanitation workers, and whatever else they came across during their days. Bob’s older brother George began playing piano at age 4 and once he was old enough, Bob would sing the songs George played. After spending over 15 years as a working singer/songwriter/musician in Jackson, Mississippi and Birmingham, Alabama, Bob is has just released his debut solo EP, Reflection, and has been rejoined by his brother George Hipp, on guitar and vocals, for an emotionally charged Americana rock band, Bob Marston & the Credible Sources. Their debut LP So Long, is out on all platforms and CD format are for sale in the store. The band's songwriting has been compared to Guy Clarke, Tom Petty, Neil Young and John Mellencamp. The band has been compared to CCR, the 400 Unit and the Grateful Dead.
